This splint is fabricated to a specific AP and Vertical position based on the Construction Bite provided with the working models. 

It has a very slight anterior and cuspid rise.  It is typically fabricated without clasps or strengthening wire.  There is no tissue contact as the acrylic is finished 1mm short of the gingival margins.
