The Accu3D Full Metal Printed HAAS appliance (Full Metal) includes a full metal plate positioned within the palate vault.  The plate features an expansion screw that allows for adjustment.  The full metal body allows for quicker fabrication and for a more accurate fit since it is more directly molded to your patient’s dentition.  Dr. Haas theorized that enhanced palatal coverage minimizes tipping and facilitates more substantial bodily movement due to the added support on the palate.

Additionally, each appliance comes with a custom swivel key.  3D Metal printing allows for the bands and the entire body of the HAAS to fit as accurately as possible.
