The Accu3D™ Metal Printed Nance appliance is designed to rotate, expand, or stabilize the upper molars after teeth movement. Like the traditional Nance appliance, it requires careful monitoring because the acrylic pad can inadvertently trap food. If not addressed, this can lead to the pad embedding in the tissue.

Regular use of an oral irrigator can help prevent this issue.
