The Accu3D™ Metal Printed Space Maintainer (Band and Loop) is utilized to keep and maintain the space created by the premature loss of primary teeth on either side of the patient’s arch dentition. Premature loss of primary teeth can lead to mesial tooth movement, which then can lead to loss of arch length.

This can lead to malocclusion in the permanent dentition, causing crowding, impaction of permanent teeth, or super eruption of opposing teeth.
